Artist Statement

The origins of all my work were born out of the traditions of the renaissance as well as electricity, photography, film and visual art mediums.

I produce verisimilitude on a painted surface. The objective is not to reproduce faithfully what I see, but to create a sense of tangible presence not found in photography.

Homage to the German Master artist Gerhard Richter for liberating my creative repertoire.
