Lovering, Tania
Tania Lovering is an emerging artist who lives and paints full time from her home studio in Wavell Heights. She uses acrylics on canvas in an intimate expression of nature and how it influences our moods, feelings and emotions.
“Embarking on fulfilling a lifelong dream, I now paint full time from my studio at home. I’ve had a long career within multidisciplinary design and project management firms whilst also studying part time in Design Studies and painting workshops.
With a strong passion for art, interior design and decoration, I do believe that our surroundings influence your moods, feelings and emotions. Elements such as lighting, tones and colour can not only be used to create an aesthetic and style to your home but also an environment that is beneficial to your lifestyle, happiness and health.
With this in mind I wanted to emphasise the form, moods and mystery of florals and their surrounds. I focussed on embellishing their features through the use of scale and haunting shadows and aimed to create a sense of reflection.”
