Wally Peart’s life as a grazier, and his long time involvement in agripolitics, has seen him having to relegate artistic impulses to building an underground house, and an innovative and holisitic approach to his property management. Because of the intense nature of his association with the land on all levels, Wally’s sculptures have a message that it is unmistakable. As are all men on the land, Wally is multiskilled, and working with metal is an extension of his everyday work.
