Description
By stimulating the spectator’s sense of sound through the subject matter of dance and music Madeleine engages the spectator in very relevant and compelling stories of rhythm and movement.
She listens to Jazz when working with enamels and acrylics on canvas. The enamel is dribbled on with a stick in a ‘freeform’ manner. When drawing with inks Madeleine likes to use old music manuscripts some dating back from the late 1800’s.
I paint the memory of emotion.
