This piece is a window into a life we rarely see, it is about sweating cattle hides and topsoil pounded to a fine red dust, relentless heat and nearly dry river beds. Its main theme is the battle with the seasons defined carefully by the blue shadows and the ochres and greens of the foliage against the red earth.
