Dreaming, floating high above the earth, so far away from my life on the land. My brothers and I soar over the world below, a new day offered and adventures to be had. Starting life in another artist’s hands, this canvas was sent to be destroyed. I saved it, I knew it would be a challenge to remove all the old paint, but it was worth it. As I heated and scraped the old paint away I formed an idea of what I’d like to do when it was primed and ready. They say that you dream alone, as an observer, they were wrong; I dreamt of this adventure with my brothers so many years ago. I remembered it and painted it over the Glass House Mountains of southern Queensland.
