Riverside story 32 A rare day for Brisbane, so moody and different in colour. This view from the 32nd floor of the Riverside building looking down on the story bridge prompted me to capture it’s feeling. While the wind blew, and the rain lashed the building, I just had to capture that moment. Raindrops on the window created little inversed spheres of the world beyond them.
I reckon that the rain droplets set the mood, and that’s what I wanted to capture. This piece is perfect for a room where people sit and think, it’s so engaging and real. As an artist it is my job to use height by width to make the viewer feel and understand the story before them.
