This is a limited edition print of a pen and ink sketch of the Mining Exchange in Ballarat, Victoria. The Mining Exchange building is one of the magnificent buildings in Ballarat which led the National Trust to consider one of the streets of Ballarat to be one of the most important in the country. The building is an extraordinary example of Victorian architecture on the goldfields.
As you can see from the detail in the work, there were many hours spent - over 80 - in the creation of the original work from which this print was taken.
