Each soul on a journey
On the road to find out
To prove their own beliefs
And leave behind no doubt
Miles from nowhere
Not another soul in sight
Shadows getting longer
As we draw into the night
I hear a sound perhaps a song
As my feet traverse this land
I know I’m not alone here
As something touches my hand
Crimson rocks glow red
From distant fading light
Purple shadows measure time
Before advancing night
Yellow ochre dances in the rays
Of a distant dying sun
And suddenly everything
Can be seen as part of one
