Have you checked out my new website yet? It features a wide range of my different styles of work, and I'm still uploading.... This website is all set up for online shopping so you can order and pay online using PayPal and major credit cards. There has been a lot of interest in the new Limited Edition prints, but that's not all I have to show, keep watching to see more of my works as I upload them. Some may know that the Shorncliffe Pier is being demolished and replaced with a new one, while the new one may be solid and impervious to the wood borers it won't have the character of the existing one. The painting 'Marks of Time' celebrates the character and beautiful colours of the pier, it's only 27 x 37cm but it just resonates with the emotion of walks on the beach. The original is framed and available for only $550, the 27 x 37cm refers only to the image size, the work in its frame is larger. I’m busy this week preparing for my Open Studio this coming weekend, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st December from 10am til 3pm. My studio is at 52 Ward Street, Sandgate (at the back of the property). I always enjoy having my studio open to the public – I get to meet lots of interesting people and hear their responses to my work. I will be working on a new piece so come along and see what I’m up to! I will have originals and my new limited edition prints for sale. They are really stunning and the response so far has been fantastic! If you are still struggling for Christmas gift ideas, come along and see me. Instead of giving what the chain stores supply you can give a work of art which is a unique and long lasting gift. I have works for most budgets. Have a great day Pete

So hot in Brisbane today, fans spinning hard, but the humidity has me beat. Didn't listen to the news at all today, I spent all my time in the studio preparing my December newsletter. Hopefully you are on my email list, if not then just email me at [email protected] and I will put you on the list or you could click here to view it.
I have also been preparing limited edition prints of some of my favourite watercolours - the quality and the colours are spot on! To have a look at them, just click here and the link should take you right there. I've noticed at exhibitions when I've been selling paintings, quite often people will be attracted to one work in particular. Now that I have prints, those of you who missed out can have your very own print of that special piece. With this muggy weather, it really feels like Christmas is upon us and if you are like me, you only have a rough idea of what you will be giving as gifts. Well, I've got a gift idea for you! You have 2 weeks! I can recommend the value in purchasing a print because the outlay is small, the quality is high and it is sure to bring a smile to whoever receives it! The prints are standard sizes and are currently unframed. Contact me if you would help with framing. This is such an exciting time for me; at last I am able to offer prints of my favourite works.
Limited Edition Prints of my most popular works are now available just in time for Christmas, you can see the range here on my new website. Limited Edition prints are a great way of owning an artwork; each one is signed and numbered by the artist. Many times I have had more than one client interested in a particular piece, having prints available would have helped in those situations. If you were one of those that missed one of my works, you will now be able to have one for your own collection. Not everyone wants a large painting; prints are currently available in two sizes 21 x 29cm and 30 x 40cm in landscape or portrait format. Each print is carefully inspected and approved by the artist before it is signed After a lot of research I found reasonably price frames, so each print is scaled to fit those standard frames. I will sell each print unframed so that you can decide which framing best suits your home. |
