The waterhole series is designed to give a feeling of calmness, each work is crafted so that it radiates peace, not just in the choice of scene but also in the colours that are chosen. When you consider the purchase of an artwork it is important that you consider that that artwork will be with you possibly for your lifetime and the painting may be something that you will leave to those that live after you. As an artist I work very hard to make sure that what you see with your eyes is the beginning of your relationship with my painting. What you see with your eyes is merely a handshake with your heart, that is to say you should ‘feel’ much more than you see when you view my works.
